Innovation Manager helps researchers and scientists in commercializing

The innovation manager supports the development of university-based inventions and business ideas into commercial products. The advisor is the central pillar of the researchers and the scientists in the commercializing process.

The innovation manager helps the researcher in:

•    charting the patenting needs of the research results

The innovation manager supports and helps the researchers starting from the research ideation and development. The advisor helps to take the research into a commercial direction. The goal is to provide the society with the benefits of the research result and gain also commercial success. After the research results have been made, the innovation manager helps the researcher to protect, license and productize the product and chart funding opportunities.

TULI funding charts the commercial potential

TULI is a program funded and coordinated by Tekes (the Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation) that helps researchers and research communities to evaluate the commercial potential of business idea or invention and aids in the process of their commercialization. The TULI funding is available for the research-based ideas of the University of Vaasa and University of Applied Sciences of Vaasa. TULI offers flexible and fast environment for evaluating and developing the research results into business. The TULI funding is used, for example, in buying consultant or other expert services.

The innovation manager Anssi Hakala evaluates the spending with you and takes all the necessary measures to receive funding.
